Wake up with Tay


The early morning is my favorite time of day. There’s a certain stillness to it that makes it peaceful and serene. Yet there’s a phenomenon to it where you wake up in the common time of rest then the birds, nature's first alarm clock, start to wake.


You enter a different world of motion and see the world turn from sleep to awake. Almost like a portal of different realms.


I am someone who struggles with winter slumps. One of my key giveaways that I am in a slump is that I am waking up late, past 9am. To help me get back into the groove, I am giving a shock to my schedule and starting a new morning routine!


With starting my own business and trying to do everything I’ve always wanted to do, I need to be productive, motivated and disciplined. The most important start is the beginning of the day! To be super productive I need a little bit of a crazy schedule and am going to be waking up at 5am! To be honest, I strive to be elite and that is what brings in the crazy. Which I love ;)

5:10 Make my bed

5:15 Stretch

5:25 Prayer

5:30 Meditation

5: 45 Gratitude

5:50 Workout

6:40 Shower

7:00 Self care routine

7:15 Read


This is the schedule I will be going off of for the next few weeks or maybe lifetime. I think it is very important to incorporate physical and mental warm ups! It may not be perfect, I may have to tweak a few things here and there but I am excited to try it and let you know how it goes!
